About a month ago, we did a cake smashing photo shoot with an awesome photographer Joli. Miss K hated this and she just didn’t want to smash the cake; I suspect she doesn’t like getting dirty LOL. These are some of the pics

So the day that I had been dreaming of since my nana was born had finally arrived, party day. We had the party on the 7 of May(birth date 18 APril) due to the many public holidays we had in April this year.
I had told myself from the beginning that with the 1st birthday party I will be going big or not going at all! I got a party planner to do everything and got the cake done at a home industry. The only thing I did myself was the invitation.
So the 7th of May finally arrived and the weather was terrible, it was overcast and it looked like it was going to rain. I had wished for the sun so much I actually wished it away. My nana’s party was going to be ruined. The party was set to start at 1pm, party planner came and set everything up and the sun eventually came out after a shower of rain.
Everything was perfect and could do it all over again but just not next year!
